Picture vegan food in your head… Does it include Tiramisu? Ethiopian stew? Cashew and coconut korma? The point is, eating vegetarian and vegan food can seem daunting…. until you discover that your favourite dish still belongs in the menu. The following list offers four BG hotspots that cater to both the vegetarian and vegan market: delicious destinations for both long-term veggie eaters and those curious to see what a life without animal products has to offer.
#1: Just F.a.B., Vegan Italian street Food & Beverages
Just F.a.B is an Italian eatery that wonderfully revisits the traditional Sicilian food truck concept by operating from a converted Red Double Decker Bus. The unusual layout offers a take away window and eat-in space on the upper deck whilst the menu aims to reinterpret Italian cuisine with organic, local and, of course, vegan dishes inspired by the street food scene of Sicily. Just F.a.B is a true family venture, with director Fabio’s own mamma Myra moving over to England to help create the menu and ensure the authenticity of the food.

This restaurant will never let you down, opening from morning to eve with three separate menus to get you through breakfast, lunch, and then dinner where you can wind down from 5pm with tapas and natural Italian wine. They work very closely with local farmers and wine enthusiasts, and this really shines through in the menu. The Hive offers a diverse range of both vegan and vegetarians dishes, many of which have a Mediterranean influence and all of which are made to honour simplicity and organic produce.
