The Hot Red Chilli Peppers – Saturday 17th March – York Hall

As far as tribute acts go, this lot know what they’re doing! Playing all the jams from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ extensive back catalogue of hits and albums featuring  Californication, By The Way, Blood Sugar Sex Magic, Suck My Kiss, Under The Bridge … the list goes on and on. All in the iconic surroundings of York Hall. Ding Ding!

The Doctor’s Orders Presents Tim Westwood – Saturday 17 March – Oval Space

Tim Westwood is one of London’s most loved Disc Jockeys, with over 30 years experience in the hip-hop, radio, TV and making your night scene. Westwood is one of the most outrageous charaters on the scene and is already a legend having interviewed everyone, from Biggie to Drake to Kanye. Westwood will be right here in Bethnal Green to deliver a 3 hour set guaranteed to get your knees juicy baby. Oh my gosh!

‘The Green’ – Wednesday 21 March – Oxford House

Come and take part in the monthly Green meeting to see how the re-generation plan is developing. If you are a business owner, come and represent your business at the meeting and share your ideas with us and members of the council. If you’re a resident, come and have your say on the issues that are important to you. 

This month’s guest speaker will be John Ryan, who will update on the up and coming heritage project at Oxford House, including the building works and the community activity programme. He’ll also give you a whistle stop history of Oxford House since 1884. All of this in 10 minutes!

Nerd Nite London – Wednesday 21st March – Backyard Comedy Club

Nerd Nite is like a series of TED talks, but with chips and drinks. 3 speakers on the night come and educate you on a topic they know way too much about, whilst you sit back, relax and cram some more detail into that tiny mind of yours. Evidence based entertainment, in a bar. Pharrell would surely approve.
